Pictures from a recent trial of FleuroSun sunflower hybrids at Dromana south of Melbourne, featuring Tall, Compact & often Dwarf versions of Landscape, Summer Spray, Classic Gold, Gold Spray, Ice Lady, Ice Spray, Classic Lime, Calypso Spray, Monarch, Sonnet, Garnet, Lilac Monarch, Lilac Spray & Mauve Spray types. We receive pictures at times from enthusiastic home gardeners, commercial growers and external field trials of FleuroSun sunflower hybrids at flowering, after harvest of stems and for Dwarfs in pots. We would love to see more linked to FleuroSun Facebook or Instagram pages. Attached are some pictures from external growers. As a promotion for the coming season, we will include one free packet of seeds of our taller unbranched FleuroSun standards Classic Gold or Classic Lime, or of our dwarfs FleuroSun Dwarf Summer Spray or Dwarf Calypso Spray, for each total of 4 packets of seed purchased up until 31 August...

We have almost completed harvest of our bagged nursery and field increase blocks at Blowhard, outside Ballarat. Seed production was very successful, but harvested yields were reduced by 30% to 90% following serious late damage from mice. This will put pressure on available seed of some popular hybrids, including Ice Lady, Garnet & Mauve Spray, and will result in some price increases for bulk and packet seeds.
